FADSS May Meeting

When: Thursday, May 10th, 2012
Time: 7-8pm business meeting, 8-9 pm social hour
Where: Lakeview Inn & Suites, Prospect St, Fredericton, NB
Who: anyone with an interest in people with Down syndrome

Social hour: In a private board room we have a relaxed open atmosphere to discuss any topic

Donations needed

DONATIONS NEEDED for the Fredericton & Area Down Syndrome Society 4th Annual Yard Sale

Do you have your spring cleaning finished? Maybe you would like to donate your quality used items to a great cause.

FADSS is having a YARD SALE on Saturday, June 2, 2012 at the Fredericton High School as a fundraiser and we are looking for DONATIONS.

Items such as toys, clothing, books, small household items or anything else would be greatly appreciated. (Sorry we cannot accept TV’s, computer monitors or bicycles.)

New Parents

Congratulations on the birth of your new baby!

We understand the mixed feelings you may be experiencing as this can be a confusing and emotional time. Early Intervention and the Fredericton and Area Down Syndrome Society (FADSS) has put together a new parents package containing some helpful information. You probably have been given this information package in the hospital when you had your baby. If you did not receive the "Down Syndrome Kit", you can request one by contacting Early Intervention, Cheryl Grant at 454-8698 or Lori Dicks at fadss3@gmail.com or 472-3384.

FADSS also offers a Visiting Parents Program. If you would like someone to visit you or you need someone to call, please feel free to contact Lori/Gord Dicks (english)472-3384 or Sonia/Dan Breau(french) 459-5451. We will be happy to visit or talk with you and to put you in contact with a family that has experienced a similar situation.

We invite you to join us at our FADSS monthly meetings the second Thursday of each month from September to June. Our usual meeting time and location is 7-9 pm, Lakeview Inn and Suites, Prospect Street, Fredericton, NB, unless posted differently on the website/facebook.
